First Snow of the Season!!

Saturday we all woke up to a beautiful site....SNOW!! We were only supposed to get a dusting...so we were excited when we actually had enough snow to play in. Izzy and Pop got bundled up very early in the morning to take advantage of it! Izzy loved her new snow boots, however was not a fan of the snow getting on her new boots! She kept saying "boots dirty" and trying to get it off!

Happy Thanksgiving!

So this Thanksgiving didn't quite turn out as planned. Marco woke up on Saturday very sick. He went to the doctor and now we know he has Bell's Palsy. It has been very painful for him and he literally didn't get out of bed for a couple days. So our Thanksgiving day plans of going to West Virginia quickly went out the window. Therefore, much to the suprise of everyone....I cooked us a yummy (if I do say so myself) Thanksgiving dinner. Of course it was just a condensed version, since there was only 2 1/2 of us eating! :) We really missed seeing everyone, but hopefully we will get to see everyone over Christmas! Marco is feeling a little better! So keep the prayers coming! XOXO

She's A Dancing Queen...

Sesame Street Live!

Tonight Izzy and I decided we would try our luck at Sesame Street Live so we could see Elmo! It started out good and Izzy was loving the show. She was clapping and when they got done singing a song she would say "gin" (which is again)! However, she is a little bit to much like her father and when it's time for bed...it's time for bed! We didn't quite make it to intermission! :) And then she screamed bloody murder the entire way home until we got the bottle in her mouth! She was done! So, now we know for next time.........the early show! :) Let the show begin!

Today was Izzy's first real night Trick or Treating, and it was a blast despite the weather! Izzy and Tanner went together as Dorothy and the Cowardly Lion! They were way to cute if I do say so myself!! Here are a few pics from the evening!

What to do on Mama's extra days off???????

Well, since school was cancelled from wed on this week, Izzy and I had lots of extra time together at the house! We have had lots of fun, the only bad thing is it rained almost the whole time! Finally today it let up enough that we could sneak outside for a little! Here are some highlights of the past three days being lazy at home! We played in our new tent, we cooked our money, rocked in our new rocker and of course we've endlessly watched Mickey!

The other night as Marco and I were cleaning up from dinner, we were wondering why Isabella got so quite! Here is the reason! :) She is into everything now! :)

Izzy really likes her broccoli, as you can tell! She was very excited while waiting for dinner to be ready!

You might also notice her first real "owie". Yesterday was a rough day...first she fell down the steps in the garage. Then not even 5 min later she went head first into the driveway. She

handled it pretty good. Only cried for a few mins and then was ready to play with Tanner again! Poor little thing looks pretty rough!

It's A Good Day to be a Wolverine!!

This weekend Izzy, Jen and I travelled to Michigan to cheer on Uncle Eric and the Wolverines against Notre Dame! We met Pop and Grandma for a fun filled football weekend! The game was a blast! Izzy had a great time running around during pre-game on the field with Uncle Eric. She even made her first TV appearance when ESPN started filming her. (It unfortunately did not make the cut though!) It was an awesome game, and the Irish weren't quite lucky enough! Michigan pulled out a big win in the last seconds!

Football Season Starts With A Bang!!!

This weekend was Marco's first game of the season. Union was ranked #10 and UVA-Wise was ranked #21. It was bound to be a show down....however, the Bulldogs came out ready to play and won big 57-7!! It was very exciting! Izzy loved running around the whole time. I'm not sure how much of the game she saw, but she loved the whole experience!! Go Bulldogs!!

This is Izzy's boyfriend Tanner! He lives 3 houses down from us, and Izzy has already made a path from our house to his! They love to play together and Izzy is already saying "Tanner" although it sounds more like Nanner! :)

Christmas Comes Early!

This weekend Pop, Grandma & Grammy came to visit! We had a blast, however we made the mistake of sharing a Christmas idea with Pop and Grandma....which of course leads to having an early Christmas present! Izzy loves it!

Anna Mavie is here!!

The newest arrival to the Valentino family is FINALLY here! Anna Mavie was born on Aug. 2 after being more than a week overdue! We didn't think she would ever get here!! Izzy is so excited to have her cousin to visit when we go to Germany!! Congratulations to Emiliano, Vanessa, Luca and Elia! We can't wait to meet you Anna Mavie! XOXO

Happy Birthday Papa!

Today is Marco's 35th birthday! Yes, I said 35th! :) We all know he does not look a day over 34! :) To celebrate, we went to a Japanese restaurant which was super YUMMY! Marco had a plate of sushi and sushimi, which he said was good. I'll have to take his word for it! I had yummy filet and shrimp. Izzy even had a yummy plate of chicken!

Michigan with Uncle Eric and Aunt Krystal...

This past weekend we went to Michigan to see Uncle Eric and Aunt Krystal. We had a great time! On Friday we had a Fish Fry! Uncle Eric fried fish that he caught in Canada, homemade onion rings and of course party potatoes! It was great! Rod, Charlene and Alex came over so it was a blast!! On Sat, we went into Ann Arbor and went to an Art fair. It was fun to walk around and see lots of great art, that noone could afford! haha! Then we took Izzy to Chuck E Cheese!! She loved it! She had a great time running around and climbing on everything! Of course I'm not sure who had more fun, Izzy or Uncle Eric? haha
